about

ABOUT THIS TRACK: On February 25, 1942, air raid sirens sounded at 2:25 a.m. throughout Los Angeles County. A total blackout was ordered and a barrage of artillery lit up the night sky, trying to take down an unseen enemy. In the end, the military realized that there was no enemy.

lyrics

LYRICS
now the darkness comes our way
nowhere left to run and hide cause it’s too late
see the monsters in the sky
there’s no time to lose it’s time to take a stand for what is right

everyone turn out the lights
they won’t see us if we all stay out of sight
one by land and two by sea
there’s no need ‘cause with our radar we can see the enemy

we won’t fall
we won’t fail

see the thunder coming down
raining fire on our sacred tinseltown
though the battle’s just begun
we will fight the enemy with every bullet from every gun
